The mission of Appleseed Workshop is to build places and furnishings that draw people together in a deeper and more meaningful experience of life. We believe that elegant and refined craftsmanship should be the norm for a builder.  We believe that a deep understanding of - and tenacious fidelity to - the design concept will result in projects that are harmonious and impactful.  We seek clients who share our commitment to high-level craft, and we build relationships with our clients that generate trust in, and proof of, our abilities. We construct places and furnishings that breathe quality, and that grow in value as their users dwell in and around them, treasuring them more with passing time.

What makes us different?

The characteristic that most distinguishes Appleseed Workshop from other builders is our love for and fluency in the language of design, which deeply informs our approach to building.  Our design acumen comes from the education and experience of our leadership n the practice of Architecture, seasoned by our connection to design practice through Appleseed Architecture.  With Appleseed, there is none of the typical difficulty in communication of design intent between architect and builder, because we are able to see construction documents not just as pieces that add up to a cost, but as a concept with a guiding purpose.  Because of this clarity, our clients can expect fewer delays and change orders than the norm, leading to more efficient and effective delivery of exactly what is intended.
