Changed Lives Christian Center is a groundbreaking center for what has potential be a model for homeless rehabilitation world wide.  The purpose of the facility is to take men who are homeless and give them a permanent address and place to call their own while simultaneously learning a trade.  The CLCC will provide meals for all of its residents, community interior and exterior recreational facilities, a spiritual gathering place, and administrative offices.  Upon hearing about the project in the early stages of its development, Place Design Studio recognized the tremendous potential for good which the organization can provide to not only homeless men, but also our great city of Birmingham.  We have since been working not only as the architects of the project, but also been volunteering our time and abilities in any way we are able for the purpose of ensuring that the project is successful in its efforts.  The Changed Lives Christian Center is an important project to Place Design Studio not just as a testament to our architectural ability, but our commitment to be good citizen architects.
